About Us

Power Pour started as an idea to make the home-bar experience better.  My name is Jeff and I’m the founder of Power Pour.  I was sitting at home in late 2019, working on a design for my home-bar.  I wanted it to have a “wow factor” that would make people say “WOW, THIS IS AWESOME!”  I looked over at my trusty kegerator and the idea hit me; why not do something similar, but for liquor?  I began looking for the product I was envisioning. However, that product was nowhere to be found.  I found a couple products that were kind of like what I wanted, but they didn’t have all the features I was looking for. Therefore, I decided to build my own system and prove this concept.  After many weeks of trial and error, I finally had a fully functioning system.  It was bulky, archaic, and utilized relay logic and timers to do the job, but it worked.   

As The design process continued, I decided to add additional features such as:

• Utilize a microprocessor to combat the size issue.
• Develop an app-based control system, so everything would be at your fingertips and easy to modify to your own preferences
• A color-selectable LED that is integrated into the pour spout, illuminating your favorite glass.
• The ability to remotely update the device, allowing for future enhancements.

 

After years of development, Power Pour came to fruition, as the product you are looking at and perhaps own today.  The ability to add features remotely through updates (OTA Updates) is perhaps one of the best and most unique features the product offers.  How many times have you purchased a product and then a better version came out a year later?  It happens all the time and I didn’t want my customers to experience that.  The ability to add features through OTA updates ensures that even if you purchased the product a year ago, you can still have the same features as a brand new product by updating your unit.  This also allows us to take user feedback and create new features based on what YOU, THE CUSTOMER, WANTS!  Don’t be shy!  If you’d like us to design a new feature for the product, send us an email with your idea via the contact us page.  The future is bright for Power Pour and we will continue to innovate by adding new features and enhancements for our existing products, as well as new products when a need arises.
